Abstract
The present Decree aims at harmonizing the existing legislative frame with Commission Directive 93/112/EC which amends Commission Directive 91/155/EEC defining and laying down detailed arrangements for the system of specific information relating to dangerous preparations in implementation of article 10 of Council Directive 88/379/EEC. The aforementioned Directive has amended Directive 91/155/EEC, with which the Greek legislation has been aligned through Decree 508/1991. The Annex to Ministerial Decree No. 508/1991 is replaced by the Annex to this Decree. The Annex lays down the explanatory notes for the compilation of safety data sheets. However, information systems of the safety data sheet type in use in Greece may continue to be used until 1 July 1995.
