Ministerial Joint Decree No. 101115 including metosulam as active substance to Annex I of Presidential Decree No. 115/1997, in compliance with Commission Directive 2010/91/EU.

The Decree amends Annex I to Presidential Order 115/97, as laid down in the Annex to this Decree, so as to include metosulam as an active substance contained in agricultural chemical products, in compliance with Commission Directive 2010/91/EU. The Directorate of plant production protection (Department of plant protection products) under the Ministry of Agricultural Development and Foodstuffs shall, where deemed necessary, amend or withdraw existing authorisations for plant protection products containing metosulam as an active substance by 1 November 2011. By that date the Directorate shall in particular verify that the conditions in Annex I to this Decree relating to metosulam are met, with the exception of those identified in part B of the entry concerning that active substance in Annex I to Presidential Decree No. 115/1997, and that the holder of the authorisation has, or has access to, a dossier satisfying the requirements of Annex II to Presidential Decree No. 115/1997in accordance with the conditions of Article 13 of that Decree.
