Ministerial Joint Decree No. 114651 including ethoprophos, pirimiphos−methyl and fipronil as active substances to Annex I of Presidential Decree No. 115/1997, in compliance with Commission Directive 2007/52/EC.

The Decree amends Annex I to Presidential Order 115/97, as laid down in the Annex to this Decree, so as to include ethoprophos, pirimiphos−methyl and fipronil as active substances contained in agricultural chemical products, in compliance with Commission Directive 2007/52/EC. The Directorate of plant production protection (Department of plant protection products) under the Ministry of Agricultural Development and Foodstuffs shall, where deemed necessary, amend or withdraw existing authorisations for plant protection products containing these substances by 31 March 2008. By that date the Directorate shall in particular verify that the conditions in Annex I to this Decree relating to ethoprophos, pirimiphos−methyl and fipronil are met, with the exception of those identified in part B of the entry concerning that active substance in Annex I to Presidential Decree No. 115/1997, and that the holder of the authorisation has, or has access to, a dossier satisfying the requirements of Annex II to Presidential Decree No. 115/1997in accordance with the conditions of Article 13 of that Decree.
