Ministerial Joint Decree No. 114653 as regards the maximum pesticide residue levels for azoxystrobin, chlorothalonil, deltamethrin, hexachlorobenzene, ioxynil, oxamyl and quinoxyfen in and on certain products of plant and animal origin, in compliance with Commission Directive 2007/56/EC.

Maximum levels for pesticide residues in and on certain products intended for human consumption are kept under constant review and changed by the European Community legislation in order to take account of new information and data. The Decree, with the view to give effect to Commission Directive 2007/56/EC, provides for the following amendments to the Greek legislative frame regarding MRLs: 1) Ministerial Joint Decree No. 290341/88 is amended as follows: in Part A, Annex II the MRL entry for deltamethrin is replaced as set out in article 1 to this Decree; 2) Presidential Decree No. 497/89 is amended as follows: in Part A, Annex V the entries for deltamethrin (cis−deltametrin) are replaced by those established in the Table contained in article 2 to this Decree; 3) Ministerial Decree No. 352654/95 is amended as follows: (a) in Annex I, in group ‘4 Oilseeds’, the entry ‘Pumpkin seed’ is added; (b) in Annex II the entries for azoxystrobin, chlorothalonil, deltamethrin, hexachlorobenzene, ioxynil, oxamyl and quinoxyfen are added, as shown in the Table contained in article 3 to this Decree.
