Abstract
In order to ensure that the consumer is adequately protected from exposure to residues in foodstuffs resulting from plant protection products and in compliance with Commission Directive 2005/46/EC, this Decree provides for the following amendments of the current Greek legislation regarding MRLs: a) in Part A of Annex II to Ministerial Joint Decree No. 290341/88 the maximum pesticide residue level for amitraz is replaced by the one established in article 1 to the present Decree; b) in Part B of Annex II to Presidential Decree No. 497/89, the maximum pesticide residue levels for amitraz in products of animal origin shall be replaced by those established in article 2 to the present Decree; c) also, the MRL for the same active substance shall be replaced in Annex II of Ministerial Decree No. 352654/95, as shown in the Table attached to article 3 to this Decree.
