Abstract
This Decree specifies maximum levels of pesticide residues that crops, food and feeding stuffs may contain, in accordance with the provisions of Commission Directive 2005/48/EC. In particular, this Decree provides for the following amendments of the current Greek legislation regarding MRLs: a) in Part A of Annex II to Ministerial Joint Decree No. 290341/88 the maximum pesticide residue level for mesotrione, silthiofam, picoxystrobin, flufenacet, iodosulfuron−methyl−sodium, fosthiazate, molinate, propiconazole and iprodione are added as shown in article 1 to the present Decree; b) in Annex V to Presidential Decree No. 497/89, the maximum pesticide residue levels for picoxystrobin and propiconazole in products of animal origin shall be replaced by those established in article 2 to the present Decree; c) also, the MRL for the above-mentioned active substances shall be added to Annex II of Ministerial Decree No. 352654/95, as shown in the Table attached to article 3 to this Decree.
