On the basis of the Agreement on scientific and technological cooperation between the Hellenic Republic and the government of Romania (signed on the 14th December 1993), the Joint Committee held its first meeting in order to analyse and determine the possibilities to develop economic cooperation in various fields of interest, among them, agricultural sciences, biotechnology, environment, earth sciences.
