Abstract
The Order sets forth guidelines for the regulation of fishing with round nets, specifically called "gri-gri". This fishing gear is distinguished by its use during day or night-time with the support of a light source. Rules regarding mesh sizes are extensively defined in art. 10. General prohibitions regarding this gear are specified in article 11. Closed seasons for the use of this gear during day or night-time and other specific prohibitions are set in articles 12 and 13. More specifically, fishing with this gear during night and daytime within the entire national territory is prohibited for a number of fishing areas listed down in art. 12. In like manner, article 13 lists down fishing areas in which fishing with "gri-gri" nets during night-time is prohibited for the entire year.
