Abstract
This Decision, based on the provisions of the Croatian Building Law, proclaims the adoption of the Energy renovation Programme for buildings with the status of cultural property for the period until the year 2030 (full text attached to this publication). This Programme was created with the aim of starting a comprehensive energy renovation (energy efficiency; energy transition and adaptation to climate change) of buildings that have the status of cultural heritage and cultural property and which are present on the territory of the Republic of Croatia, while ensuring the protection and preservation of such cultural heritage. Protected buildings can be classified into two categories: 1) individually protected cultural assets (individual buildings and construction complexes); and 2) buildings located within a protected cultural-historical complex. Co-financing and implementation of the Programme will be provided in the first three-year period from the funds of the European Structural and Investment Funds for the new financial period 2021-2027 and from the Mechanism for Recovery and Resilience through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan 2021-2026 and from the funds of various financial institutions, users' own participation and funds collected through memorial annuity.
