Decision on authorization of vessels for igloo fishing (Xiphias gladius) in 2024.

This Decision authorizes vessels fishing for igloos (Xiphias gladius) for the year 2024 on the basis of conditions and criteria prescribed in the Regulation on fishing opportunities and Igloo fishing (Xiphias gladius) which was originally published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Croatia 36/2023 and amended in the Official Gazette 30/2024. The right to use the State quota in fishing for igloos (Xiphias gladius) by floating longline is exercised by vessels with individual quotas per vessel as specified in the list under point II. The right to use the State quota in fishing for igloos (Xiphias gladius) with pan and trout according to the Olympic principle with a limit of the total catch per vessel of 200 kg is exercised by vessels listed under point III of this text.
