Decision on the establishment of the National Commission for Beaver Management (Castor fiber L.).

This Decision, based on the provisions of the Croatian Law on hunting, establishes the National Commission for Beaver Management (Castor fiber L.) for a term of four years. The task of the Commission is to develop and implement the Beaver Management Plan in the Republic of Croatia and its revisions, action plan and monitor the implementation of planned activities among assessment of effectiveness of implementation of the Beaver Management Plan. The Commission prepares recommendations, opinions and reports on beaver management and provides guidelines for the adoption of new or amendments to existing regulations in this area. Professional and administrative tasks for the Commission are performed by the ministry in charge of hunting.
