Decision on the registration of fishing vessels caught with fishing tools in the ICCAT Register (ICCAT Record of BFT Catching Vessels) in 2024.

This Decision here determines the following: the official list of vessels that meet the conditions and criteria for registration in the ICCAT Register of Fishing Vessels; individual quotas for catching tuna with fishing gear per vessel in 2024. The right to enter the Register of ICCAT fishing vessels for tuna fishing with fishing gear in 2024 is achieved by vessels with the corresponding individual quotas, as listed in point II of this text. Vessels from point II. of this Decision are authorized for bluefin tuna fishing with fishing gear from 15 February 2024 until 31 December 2024, or until the individual quota is used up, whichever comes first.
