Abstract
This Law amends and adds several provisions to the Law on agriculture (originally published in the Official Gazette 118/2018, and already amended in Gazettes 42/2020, 127/2020 and 52/2021). Changes are regarding the added European Union reference legislation that is implemented (article 2 lists all related EU texts); added references to the Strategic plan of the Common Agricultural Policy of the Republic of Croatia 2023 2027; currency adjustments in the entire text (Euro currency); issues regarding updated tasks of the National Network of the Common Agricultural Policy; control of conditionality and administrative penalties; decision making on exercising the right to support (among issues on different sectoral interventions); procedure of harmonizing producer organizations and extension of rules; record of exemptions for traders/distributors of ecological products; misdemeanor provisions for legal and natural persons.

Entry into force notes
This text entered into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette (published on 23 December 2022), except for the provisions of articles 2, 9, 52, 55, 59, 61 to 68 of this text and articles 180a and 180c, which are added by article 70 of this text, which shall enter into force on the day of the introduction of the euro as official currency in the Republic of Croatia.
