Abstract
This Law establishes the detailed objectives and measures of the overall national agricultural sector and policy, including several rules relating to the common organization of agricultural products markets.
This text is divided into XII Main Titles, each with its own thematic Chapters, and a total of 195 article. The Main Titles are here listed: General provisions (I); Agricultural policy measures (II); Common organization of agricultural products markets (III); Information and promoting measures (IV); Rules on strong alcoholic drinks (V); Food (VI); Quality systems (VII); Education and training for agriculture and rural development and development of professional business (VIII); Databases (IX); Administrative and inspection supervisory, official controls and controls of the payment agency (X); Penalty measures (XI); Transitional and final provisions (XII). This Law further defines other related topics such as: information and promotion measures, rules on spirits, data collection and reporting on agricultural product prices, issues and provisions in relation with the Codex Alimentarius, quality assets for food and feed, food production provisions, organic production, quality systems of agricultural and food products, placing on the market of natural mineral, natural spring and table waters, including requirements for their safety, labelling and quality, counseling farmers, education and development and professional affairs, databases, conditions for production and marketing of flour on the market, system of agricultural bookkeeping data, administrative control and control on the ground, and administrative and inspection supervision.
