Abstract
This Law amends certain provisions part of the Law implementing the Regulation (EU) No 511/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 April 2014 on compliance measures for users from the Nagoya Protocol on Access to Genetic Resources and the Fair and Equitable Sharing of Benefits Arising from their Utilization in the Union (originally published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Croatia 20/2018).
Changes are here listed: in article 5 (paragraph 1, subparagraph 2) the paragraph 3 is added “the central body of state administration responsible for inspection tasks in the field of agriculture and nature protection"; in article 6, paragraph 2, subparagraph 3 is deleted (former subparagraphs 4, 5 and 6 have become subparagraphs 3, 4 and 5); article 13 (paragraph 1) is amended “Inspection of the implementation of the provisions of Regulation (EU) No 511/2014 and of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1866 shall be carried out by nature protection inspection and agricultural inspection of the central government body responsible for inspections"; article 14 is re-edited as follows: “The competent authority referred to in article 5, paragraph 1, subparagraph 2 of this Law shall report to the central state administration body competent for nature protection activities not later than 1 March of the current year for the supervision carried out in the previous year”, and “The competent authority referred to in article 5, paragraph 1, subparagraph 2 of this Law shall notify the central body of state administration competent for nature protection activities not later than 1 March of the current year for the controls carried out in the previous year".

Entry into force notes
This Law enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette, except for the provisions of articles 1 and 3 of this text that shall start applying form 1 April 2019.
