Abstract
This Law changes and adds various provision of articles 2, 3, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 32, 36, 39, 42, 43, 45, 48, 49, 50, 52, 53, 54, 55, 62, 63, 64 and 66 of the Law on chemicals (Official Gazette 150/05 and 53/08).
Major changes are related to: definitions, classification, packaging and labelling, transport and storage requirements and authorization and permits.
This Law cancels the provisions of articles 4 and 5.

Entry into force notes
This Law enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette, except for the provisions of articles 4, 5 and 6 which will enter into force on 1 December 2011.
Notes
Upon the entry into force of this Law, the Regulation on existing substances (Official Gazette 61/08) will be no longer in use.
