Abstract
This Law, in order to protect the live and health of people and with the aim of protecting the environment against harmful effects caused by chemicals, here prescribe the conditions aimed for all legal and private persons engaged in activities such as: chemical substance processing, production, internal and international trade and placing on market, use/consumption, and intermediary activities.
This text closely sets the requirements of the harmonization principles (containing several European Union and Council legal references as listed in the article 2); administrative provisions; classification of all substances registered as chemical substances; packaging and labelling provisions (also for what is classified as dangerous substances); proceedings in relation to the necessary cooperation with the European Chemicals Agency; inspection matters and offences and penalties (article 28).
