Law amending the Law on cooperatives.

This Law amend certain provisions part of the Law on cooperatives (originally published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Croatia 34/2011).
Changes are as follows: in article 2, after the paragraph 3, the following paragraph 4 is added “the violation of cooperative principles and/or values shall be determined by a decision of the state administration office in the county at the proposal of a cooperative member, a representative of a cooperative or cooperative association, the Croatian Association of Cooperatives and other legal or natural person who proves a legal interest"; in article 15 (paragraph 4) the words "economy and entrepreneurship" are replaced by the words "entrepreneurship and crafts"; article 52 (paragraph 1) is amended (rights and obligations of the members of the Croatian Association of Cooperatives shall be exercised through territorial, professional, specialized and other cooperative associations and other forms of organization and operation in accordance with the provisions of the Statute of the Croatian Association of Cooperatives). Article 53 (paragraph 2) is amended as follows: “The Statute shall be adopted by the Representative Assembly of the Croatian Union of Cooperatives with the prior approval of the ministry responsible for entrepreneurship and crafts"; articles 54a, 54b, 54c and 54d are added (representative assembly related provisions); also article 70a is added (supervision related provisions).
