Law amending the Law on the implementation of Regulation (EC) no. 850/2004 on persistent organic pollutants.

This Law amends certain provisions part of the Law on the implementation of Regulation (EC) No. 850/2004 on persistent organic pollutants (originally published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Croatia 148/2013).
Changes are as here listed: in article 3, paragraph 2 is amended as follows “The competent authorities referred to in paragraph 1 of this article shall cooperate with the Croatian Institute of Public Health, Croatian Waters, Croatian Forests Ltd., Croatian Forestry Institute and Croatian Agency for Agriculture and Food"; in article 4, paragraph 1, item 4, the words "Environmental Protection Agency" shall be replaced by the words "central government body responsible for environmental protection"; in paragraph 2 of the same article, the words "Croatian Institute of Toxicology and Anti-Doping" are replaced by the words "Croatian Institute of Public Health" and the words "Environmental Protection Agency" are replaced by the words: "central government body responsible for environmental protection"; in article 5, paragraph 3, the words "Croatian Center for Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs-Institute for Plant Protection" shall be replaced by the words "Croatian Agency for Agriculture and Food", and the words: "Croatian Environmental Agency" shall be replaced by the words “central government body responsible for environmental protection." In article 7, paragraph 2, the words "Croatian Institute for Toxicology and Anti-Doping" are replaced by the words "Croatian Institute of Public Health" and the words "and the Croatian Environmental Agency" are deleted. Paragraph 3 of the same article is amended to read “The central bodies of state administration competent for health, agriculture, economy, water management, forestry and veterinary medicine shall be obliged to submit in due time and without charge the data from their jurisdiction which are necessary for fulfilling the obligations referred to in article 12 paragraph 1 and paragraph 3 of the Regulation. (EC) no. 850/2004 to the central government body responsible for environmental protection". in article 8, paragraph 2, the words "Environmental Protection Agency" are replaced by the words: "central government body responsible for environmental protection"; in paragraph 3 (article 8), the words “Environmental Protection Agency" shall be replaced by the words "central government body responsible for environmental protection". in article 11, next to the words "veterinary inspectors" the words “and border veterinary inspectors” shall be added. in article 12, paragraph 1, the word "state" is here deleted.
