Abstract
This Law amends and adds certain provisions to the Law on small business encouragement (Official Gazette 29/2002).
Major changes are related to the general terms and provisions; official denominations and definitions; concrete technical and financial rules and measures.

Entry into force notes
This Law enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette.

This Law adopts the principles and provisions also contained in the following international documents: (CELEX 32001R0070) Commission Regulation (EC) No 70/2001 of 12 January 2001 on the application of Articles 87 and 88 of the EC Treaty to State aid to small and medium-sized enterprises;and (CELEX 32004R0364) Commission Regulation (EC) No 364/2004 of 25 February 2004 amending Regulation (EC) No 70/2001 as regards the extension of its scope to include aid for research and development.
