Abstract
This Law regulates the production and trade of agricultural seeds, of edible and medicinal mushrooms and agricultural planting material, recognition of agricultural plants and other issues relevant to the implementation of the integrated system of agricultural seeds and seedlings on the Croatian Republic.
In order to monitor the development of agricultural seeds, seedlings and recognition of varieties of agricultural plants, for giving expert opinions and proposals in this area, the Ministry establishes: 1) Commission for Agricultural Seed; 2) Commission for Agricultural Seedlings; 3) Commission for registration of varieties of arable crops, vegetables and flowers; 4) Commission for recognition of agricultural planting material.
The Law further sets out other related provisions and standards governing the specific sector of agricultural crops, seedlings, planting materials and its varieties, and provides for offences and penalties.
This Law is divided into 8 Chapters and 110 articles.
