Abstract
This Order here amends certain contents part of the Order on control measures for the suppression of African swine fever in the Republic of Croatia (originally published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Croatia 8/2024 and already amended in the Gazette 21/2023). Changes are regarding the provisions of article 9 (paragraphs 2 and 3) which defines the costs of harmless removal in the animal by-product processing facility of category 1 of carcasses of slaughtered wild pigs in which the presence of the African swine fever virus, carcasses of dead kept pigs and carcasses of dead wild pigs is confirmed by laboratory testing, shall be paid from the state budget. These costs shall be calculated in accordance with the current Decision on the amount and scope of fees for the costs of implementing prescribed measures in the field of veterinary medicine, published on the official website of the Ministry of Agriculture, Directorate for Veterinary Medicine and Food Safety.
