Regulation on the adoption of the spatial plan for the Nature Park Žumberak-Samoborsko gorje.

This Regulation provides for the official spatial plan for the management and conservation of the the Nature Park Žumberak-Samoborsko gorje, located on the territory of the Republic of Croatia and already declared as nature park. The above mentioned plan is fully attached in this publication.
This Plan establishes: spatial arrangement goals; organization and purpose of spaces inside the park; conditions and measures of use, arrangement and protection of the value of the park area; conditions for development and arrangement of settlements and other functional units; system, space and conditions for the accommodation of roads and other infrastructure.
The main objectives are to preserve the natural characteristics of landscapes, including the: protection and preservation of the natural values of the Park and its fundamental features; protection and conservation of rare, endangered, habitat types and plant and animal species (preservation of biodiversity); preservation of landscape diversity; preservation of geodiversity; preservation of cultural values of space; preservation of the traditional typology of settlements; preserving the variety of space; ensuring quality availability; protection and preservation of the soil; protection and preservation of forests and forest ecosystems; protection and preservation of water quality; protection and preservation of air quality; development of tourism for recreational activities, and educational and scientific activities in the Park area; preservation of the traditional way of agriculture; encourage renewal and revitalization of traditional crafts; stopping the depopulation trend, with conditions for improving the living conditions and population standards of the Parka settlements; rehabilitation of endangered parts of the environment.
