Abstract
This Regulation amends certain parts of the Regulation on the content and scope of risk assessment in relation to placing on the market of genetically modified organisms or products which contain and/or consist of or derive from genetically modified organisms, methodology for the preparation of assessment (Official Gazette 39/2008).
Changes are related to the general terms and requirements, technical definitions, administrative definitions and official denominations of the local competent bodies.
This Regulation also adopts measures and standards prescribed by the Directive 2001/18/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the deliberate release into the environment of genetically modified organisms and repealing Council Directive 90/220/EEC.
