Regulation amending the Regulation on the drafting and implementation of the Marine Strategy and Coastal Management Strategy documents.

This Regulation amends certain provisions part of the Regulation on the drafting and implementation of the Marine Strategy and Coastal Management Strategy documents (originally published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Croatia 112/2014, and already amended in the Gazette 39/2017).
Article 2 is amended to read: This Regulation contains provisions in accordance with the following acts of the European Union and of the United Nations Environment Programme: Directive 2008/56/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council establishing a framework for Community action in the field of marine environmental policy; Commission Directive (EU) 2017/845 amending Directive 2008/56/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the indicative list of elements to be taken into account when preparing maritime strategies; Commission Decision (EU) 2017/848 laying down criteria and methodological standards for the good status of the marine environment, as well as specifications and standardized methods for monitoring and assessment and repealing Decision 2010/477/EU; Protocol to the Barcelona Convention on Integrated Coastal Zone Management of the Mediterranean, ratified by the Republic of Croatia . Issues on bodies responsible for the implementation of this Regulation (article 10) are completely re-edited. The entire Annex II is here substituted with a new one, part of this publication (containing the new Indicative list of ecosystem elements, anthropogenic pressures and human activities of importance for sea waters).
