Abstract
This Regulation amends certain provisions part of the Regulation on the marketing of cereal seed (Official Gazette 83/2009).
Changes are related to the general terms and definitions; official denominations and standards; specific market rules; and additional certification and labeling rules.
This Regulation implements in the legal order of the Republic of Croatia the following EU documents: Commission Directive 2009/74/EC of 26 June 2009 amending and supplementing the provisions of Council Directive 66/401/EEC, 66/402/EEC 2002/55/EC and 2002/57/EC regarding the botanical names, scientific names of other organisms and certain Annexes of the Directive 66/401/EEC, 66/402/EEC and 2002/57/EC on the development of scientific and technical knowledge; Implementing Commission Directive 2012/1/EC of January 6, 2012 amending and supplementing the Annex I of the Council Directive 66/402/EEC regarding the conditions to be met by the crop Oryza sativa; Implementing Commission Directive 2012/37/EC of 22 November 2012 amending certain Annexes of the Council Directive 66/401/EEC and 66/402/EEC regarding the conditions that must be met by seeds of Galega orientalis Lam, maximum weight of seeds of forage crops and sample mass of Sorghum spp.
This Regulation further provides for a completely new Annex I, II and III.
The new Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
