Abstract
This Regulation adds some provisions to the Regulation on packaging and packaging waste (Official Gazette 97/2005, 115/2005, 81/2008, 31/2009, 156/2009, 38/2010 and 10/2011).
The new paragraph added to the provisions of the article 20 states that: in order to ensure the continuity of packaging waste in the case of certain types of packaging waste or for certain areas not selected by an authorized collector or recycler, the Fund (Fund for Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency, which is a legal entity with public authorization to perform tasks related to the management of packaging and packaging waste in accordance with this Regulation and the Waste Act) will be the authorized collector or recycling operator.
