Regulation on packaging and waste packaging.

This Regulation defines the necessary principles and procedures in terms of procedures and objectives in the waste sector as regards the waste generated by packaging materials (packaging waste management), further sets the requirements for such waste collection including issues defining the storage, processing and production requirements, along the rules for the correct and sustainable placing on the market and use of such materials.
This Regulation sets the compulsory treatment, reuse, recycling and other waste recovery operations as one its major objectives.
The text is fully in accordance with the provisions brought by several Council Directives as listed in the provisions of the article 3.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
