Abstract
This Regulation lays down animal health requirements governing trade and transort on the territory of the European Union and imports from foreign countries of poultry and hatching eggs.
This Regulation shall not apply to poultry for exhibitions, festivals or competitions.
The competent authority shall submit to the European Commission the complete plan describing the national measures which they intend to implement to meet the provisions laid down in Annex II of this Regulation, related to the granting of facilities for the purpose of putting into circulation of poultry and hatching eggs on the EU territory.
The Annexes I - V are an integral part of this Regulation.
