Abstract
The Regulation specifies: a) animal health conditions for the placing on the market, import and transit of aquaculture animals and products; b) minimum preventive measures aimed to effectively increase the awareness and preparedness of the competent authorities, aquaculture production business operators and others who are associated with this genre of activities (related to the aquatic animal diseases); c) minimum control measures to be applied in case of doubt or of an outbreak of harmful diseases in aquatic animals.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.

Entry into force notes
This Regulation enters into force six months after its publication in the Official Gazette, except for the provisions of articles 11.4, 48.3, and standards part of the Annex 3 which will enter into force on the day of Croatian accession into the European Union.
