Abstract
This Regulation defines the competent authorities and competent bodies, the tasks of the competent authorities and the manner of cooperation between the European Commission and the Croatian national bodies in the field of scientific matters in the food sector.
The provisions here stipulated are representing the basis for cooperation between the authorities and institutions of the Croatian Republic with the European Commission in order to cooperate and offer assistance in the fields regarding food and food sector.
This Regulation also outs into effect the provisions of the Council Directive 93/5 of 25 February 1993 on assistance to the Commission and cooperation by Member States in the scientific examination of questions related to food.
