Abstract
This Regulation hereby determines the necessary quality requirements (to be observed during the production and placing on the market, also in terms of definitions and general requirements, composition and organoleptic properties, type and quantity of raw materials and other substances used during its manufacture and/or processing, and several additional and specific labelling requirements) to be met by all the caseins and its derivate/caseinates and mixtures thereof which are intended for human consumption.
This Regulation further adopts the terms provided by the: Directive (EU) 2015/2203 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 November 2015 on the approximation of the Laws of the Member States related to caseins and caseinates intended for human consumption, and its repealing Council Directive 83/417/EEC.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
