Abstract
For the purpose of rational management and conservation of tuna this Regulation prescribes: a) allowable tuna quota for 2010. year, by type of fishing and fishing gear; b) time ban on the use of certain fishing gear; c) ban on the use of aircraft in the fishery; d) the minimum size of the national catch; e) manner of fishing; f) manner of recreational fishing; g) measures for the performance of breeding; h) measures of control for the capacity of fishing fleets; i) measures to control the breeding capacity of the installation; j) delivery of historical data, transfer, transhipment, transport, unloading and breeding; k) records of catch and cross checking of data; l) the use of vessel monitoring systems; m) program of observers on fishing vessels and farms; n) market measure.
The fishing quota for the year 2010. is 393,50 tons.
The fishing annual quota of tuna can be modified in accordance with the recommendations of ICCAT.
Any unrealized catch up to meet quotas in 2010. cannot be switched to the 2011.
