Abstract
This Regulation prescribes quality requirements for the production and placing on market of coffee extracts and chicory extracts, and refers to: a) terms, definitions and general requirements; b) the composition; c) the technological processes used in the production and processing; d) analytical methods for determining compliance with the general quality requirements; e) additional labelling requirements.
The provisions of this Regulation shall not apply to: "café torrefacto soluble."
To determine product compliance with quality requirements prescribed by this Regulation, the purpose of official controls is validated using internationally recognized methods.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.

This Regulation enters into force on 1 January 2011.
Notes
On the effective date of this Regulation, the provisions of the Regulation on coffee and products of coffee and coffee substitutes (Official Gazette 172/04) will be no longer in use.
