Regulation on the conditions, criteria and method of granting aid under measure I.9. "Temporary cessation of fishing activities" with bottom trawl nets.

This Regulation provides for the necessary conditions, criteria and method of granting aid under the Measure I.9. "Temporary cessation of fishing activities" within the framework of the European Union's priorities "Encouraging environmentally sustainable, resource efficient, innovative, competitive and knowledge-based fisheries" in the implementation of the Republic of Croatia Operational Programme for the Programming Period 2014-2020, and in full accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) No. 508/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 May 2014 on the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund and repealing Council Regulation (EC) 2328/2003, (EC) No 861/2006, (EC) No. 1198/2006, (EC) No. 791/2007 and Regulation (EU) No. (EU) No 1255/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council.
Temporary cessation of fishing activities shall be carried out in the fishing segment where bottom trawl nets are used as official fishing method and gear. Provisional suspension within the meaning of this Regulation is a temporary suspension for a period of 30 days in the period from 16 September 2018 at 00:00 hours to 15 October 2018 at 24:00 hours in related fishing areas, as indicated in the text.
