Regulation on the conditions, criteria and ways of donating food and feed.

This Regulation determines the necessary rules, detailed criteria and ways of donating the food and feed, including the conditions to be met by an intermediary in donating of food and feed, and further defines the content and method of keeping the Register of intermediaries.
This text transposes and respects the provisions contained in the following documents: Regulation (EC) No. 178/2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 28 January 2002 laying down general principles and requirements of food Law, establishing the European Food Safety Authority and laying down procedures in the areas of food safety; (also its amending Regulation (EU) no. 652/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 May 2014 laying down provisions for the management of expenditure related to the food chain, animal health and welfare and to plant health and plant reproductive material, and its amending Council Directives 98/56/EC, 2000/29/EC and 2008/90/EC, Regulation (EC) No. 178/2002, (EC) No. 882/2004 and (EC) No. 396/2005; Directive 2009/128/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council and Regulation (EC) No. 1107/2009 of the European Parliament and the Council and its repealing Council decisions 66/399/EEC, 76/894 / EEC and 2009/470/EC; Regulation (EC) No. 852/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 April 2004 on the hygiene of foodstuffs, and its amending Regulation (EC) No. 219/2009; and various other Decisions and Regulations that are listed in articles 2 and 3.
