Abstract
This Regulation specifies: a) the conditions of the farm and skins of ungulates with more than 20 livestock, poultry and rabbit farms with more than 10 livestock units; b) the conditions for the protection of animals bred and/or kept on farms; c) the registration procedure for the farms; d) the content, form and manner of keeping the farm register.
The provisions of this Regulation shall not apply to: a) wild animals in nature; b) animals in competitions, exhibitions, cultural or sporting events or activities; c) companion animals; d) animals in experiments; e) invertebrates.
The area of land for farm activity must be adequate and meet the capacity, number and size of the constructed facilities, to ensure their functional connectivity and sufficient distance between them.
The work of disinfection, disinsection and pest control (DDD) on the farm can be performed only by legal and/or natural persons who have a permission of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, so they can meet the prescribed conditions.
The animals must be kept by people with relevant knowledge and professional qualifications, which have a responsible attitude towards them.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
