Abstract
This Regulation hereby defines the official entry points and places, general import issues (conditions to be met by shipments of food of non-animal origin, and detailed rules for the fulfillment of the documents that must accompany the consignment), and manner of performance of official controls/veterinary checks, all related to the animal feed of non-animal origin deriving from counties that are not Member States of the European Union (here denominated as third/or foreign countries).
This Regulation further determines the responsibilities when considering the provisions stipulated by the Regulation (EC) No. 882/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 April 2004 on official controls performed to verify the compliance with food Law and Regulations on animal health and welfare.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
