Abstract
This Regulation provides all necessary conditions and requirements for the correct, safe and animal respectful and friendly practices for keeping of experimental (research) animals on the territory of the Croatian Republic, also including special requirements for dwellings intended for breeding and/or keeping of experimental animals, and the types of experiments that can be performed on animals.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.

Entry into force notes
This Regulation enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Notes
This Directive does not prejudice nor restrict the right of the Member States to apply or adopt stricter measures for the protection of animals used in experiments or for the control and restriction of the use of animals for experiments.
