Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the conditions for plant health and its related security standards under which: identity and health checks of certain plants, plant products and other regulated objects originating in certain countries or areas is carried out; the introduction, transport or transit may be carried out at reduced frequency.
The provisions of this Regulation shall not apply to: a) plants intended for planting; b) any plant, plant product or other regulated object which is subject to authorization allowing importation into the Community according to the provisions of article 15(1) of Council Directive 2000/29/EC of 8 May 2000 on protective measures against the introduction into the Community of organisms harmful to plants or plant products and against their spread within the Community; c) any plant, plant product or other regulated object which is subject to temporary measures in according to the provisions of Article 16(3) of Directive 2000/29/EC; d) any plant, plant product or other regulated object which is mentioned in the list established pursuant to Article 13.a(5)(b) of Directive 2000/29/EC.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
