Regulation on conservation objectives and conservation measures for target bird species in ecological network areas.

This Regulation determines several conservation objectives and sets out conservation measures for the target bird species in ecological network areas and further provides for the manner for the implementation of adopted conservation measures.
Theses conservation objectives are determined for all target bird species present in the Conservation Area relevant to birds, as defined by the Croatian Regulation on the Ecological Network and the competences of public institutions managing the ecological network areas (already published in the Official Gazette 80/2019). Conservation measures as for the meaning of this text are here defined as a mechanism for achieving the established conservation objectives for specific species.
Article 4 states that the rules object of this text shall be implemented within the framework of natural resource management planning documents, physical planning documents, protected area and/or ecological network management plans, strictly protected species management plans, and the implementation of interventions and/or activities that could affect to the aimed preservation goals.
