Abstract
This Regulation governs the content and manner of filing applications for deliberate release of genetically modified organisms into the environment, and the confidentiality of the data contained in the application.
Application for a permit for the deliberate release of GMOs into the environment must include: a) technical documentation; b) risk assessment of deliberate release of GMOs into the environment, which is made in accordance with the provisions of risk assessment on the introduction of GMOs into the environment; c) emergency response plan in case of uncontrolled spread of GMOs into the environment, which is made in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation on the content and implementation of plan for measures to eliminate the uncontrolled spread of GMOs into the environment.
Applicant at the end of registration signed statement, confirming that all data in the application are true and correct, also claiming for their correctness and accuracy, will put criminal and material responsibility on his person

Entry into force notes
This Regulation enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette, except for the provisions of article 8 that shall enter in force on the day of Croatian entrance in the European Union.
