Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the content of the Plan for collecting data on marine fisheries, the manner of conduction and methodology, management information, how to use data on the fisheries sector in the framework of the fisheries policy for the purposes of scientific analysis and content, including various development methods and deadlines for publication of annual reports on the state of Croatian fisheries.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.

Entry into force notes
This Regulation enters into force on the day of its publication in the "Official Gazette", except for the provisions of article 5, paragraphs 2, 3 and 4, article 6, article 7, paragraphs 3, 4 and 5, articles 8, 9 , 10 and 15, article 20, paragraphs 1, 2 and 3, article 21, paragraph 2, article 24, paragraphs 4, 5 and 6, article 25, paragraph 2, article 26, article 27, paragraph 1, points d and e and paragraph 2 and article 29 which shall enter into force on the date of Croatian accession to the European Union.

This Regulation also contains provisions that are in accordance with the following acts of the European Union: Council Regulation (EC) No. 199/2008 of 25 February 2008 establishing a Community framework for the collection, management and use of data on the fisheries sector and support for scientific advice on the Common fisheries policy (OJ L 60, 5.3.2008); Commission Regulation (EC) No. 665/2008 of 14 July 2008 on detailed rules for the application of Council Regulation (EC) No. 199/2008 establishing a Community framework for the collection, management and use of data on the fisheries sector and support for scientific advice on the Common fisheries policy (OJ L 186, 15.7.2008); Commission Decision 2010/93 / EC of 18 December 2009 adopting a multiannual Community program for the collection, management and use of data on the fisheries sector for the period 2011-2013 (OJ L 41, 16.2.2010).
