Abstract
This Regulation sets out the necessary contents of the notification and determines the accompanying technical documentation that has to be presented and indicated when placing on the market of genetically modified organisms or products containing and/or deriving or consisting from genetically modified organisms, including the related labelling and packaging issues.
This Regulation contains the provisions in accordance with the terms prescribed in the Directive 2001/18/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 12 March 2001 on the deliberate release into the environment of genetically modified organisms and repealing Council Directive 90/220/EEC.
The Annex is also part of this publication (declaration forms; and technical sheets).
