Regulation on the control system of ecological agriculture.

This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Croatian Law on agriculture, lays down detailed provisions related to registration in the Register of Organic Entities, recognition of groups of entities, the procedure for authorizing control bodies, production rules in organic agriculture, approval of exemptions from production rules, procedures of control bodies in the framework of the implementation of official controls of organic production and products, reports on control, catalog of corrective measures, detailed provisions on the database of organic seed and planting material, deadlines for data delivery and exchange of information within the control system of organic agriculture, collection of data on the availability of plant reproductive material for organic production, animals from organic farming and juvenile animals from organic aquaculture, border crossings for the import of organic products from third countries and the appearance of the national sign for labelling ecological products. This text ensures the implementation of several related European Union legislative documents as listed in article 2.
