Abstract
This Regulation shall establish diagnostic procedures, sampling methods and factors for assessment of laboratory methods that are recommended for the diagnosis of classic swine fever, as described in the diagnostic manual, inside the Annex.
The confirm of presence of classic swine fever, which is determined in accordance with the Regulation on measures for the detection, control and eradication of classic swine fever (Official Gazette 187/04) must be based on: a) clinical signs and post mortem findings; b) detecting the virus, viral antigen or genome in tissue, organs, blood or body fluids of pigs; c) the existence of a specific antibody response in the blood sample.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
