Abstract
The Regulation defines the essential technical requirements, safety and protection for the works carried out for the purpose of exploration and exploitation of hydrocarbons (mining works) from the Croatian underwater.
These requirements are prescribed in order to perform the technical and technological mining works in a safe manner, also being sensible for applicable standards and rules governing the mining profession in order to ensure the safety and protection of people's health, prevent pollution of the sea, seabed, subsoil, and air, also to prevent unjustified interference with maritime and air transport, unwarranted fishing, as well as preventing destruction and/or degradation of marine flora and fauna.
