Abstract
This Law regulates activities related to the mining activities in the Republic of Croatia. The 140 articles of the text are divided into 13 Parts as follows: General Provisions (1); Research of the Raw Minerals (2); Raw Mineral Reserves (3); Mining Projects (4); Extraction of Raw Minerals (5); Mining Constructions and Facilities (6); Mining Planning and Measuring (7); Information System for Raw Minerals (8); Job Qualification Requirements (9); Protection at the Work (10); Administration and Inspection (11); Penalties (12) and Transitional and Final Provisions (13).

Entry into force notes
This Act enters into force on 30 July 2009, except for the provisions of Article 12, paragraph 2, Article 22, paragraph 3, Aricle 49, paragraph 5 and Article 113, paragraph 4 which shall enter into force upon the accession of the Republic of Croatia to the European Union.
