Abstract
This Regulation establishes the conditions and procedures for the use and placing on the market, labelling and supervision of feed additives, their mixtures and premixtures in order to provide a basis for the assurance of a high level of protection of human health, animal health and welfare, environment and consumers’ interests.
A feed business operator seeking an authorization to enter a feed additive into the Community Register of Feed Additives pursuant to Regulation (EC) No. 1831/2003, and/or place the additive on the market of the European Union shall submit an application for the official authorization for use or for a new use of each single feed additive in accordance with article 7 of this Regulation.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
