Regulation on fees and costs for services and procedures carried out by the Croatian Agriculture and Food Agency-Center for Seed and Nursery Production.

This Regulation here determines the fees and costs for services and procedures carried out by the Croatian Agriculture and Food Agency here specific for “Center for Seed and Nursery Production”, as well as the time and method of payment of these funds. The fees for services, costs and procedures performed by the Center are as follows: 1. fee for testing varieties in the experimental field and laboratory in the procedure for the recognition of varieties of agricultural plants, and the procedure for the recognition of varieties includes tests of the economic value of the variety (VCU tests) and tests to determine the distinctness, uniformity and stability of the variety (DUS tests); 2. cost of granting and duration of the breeder's right; 3. annual fee for the time the variety is registered in the List of Varieties of the Republic of Croatia for varieties of field plants and vegetables; 4. fee for conducting control of monitoring critical points over the production of agricultural planting material; 5. fee for conducting official supervision over the production of seeds and planting material; 6. fee for issuing seed certificates and planting material certificates on the packaging and with the delivery note; 7. fee for determining seed quality (purity, germination, moisture content, health status) and other analyses; 8. fee for sampling, record keeping, sample storage and report issuance; 9. fee for conducting the Heubach test for "pollination" on seeds of various plant species; 10. fee for conducting checks on compliance with the requirements for entry into the registers; 11. training fee; 12. fee for determining the presence of GMOs in seeds, food and animal feed.
